Review permissions
Read Google’s permission request. The app needs access to create and update your reading workbook and associated app files.
Begin your library
Add books and record your reading journey. Your saved records live in the workbook created for your account.
This is the intended customer setup. Public release is still being prepared and tested.
Questions
Do I need a Google account?
Yes, for the Google edition. The app uses Google Sheets and app-related files in Google Drive to save your records.
Is this website my private library?
No. This is the Valet de Bâtons product website. Your library is accessed through the separate Google-hosted Scarlett Shelf app; it is not displayed here.
How does Kobo import work?
Kobo import needs a compatible desktop browser and a connected device or supported files that you choose. It is not an automatic background cloud sync, and available metadata varies between books.
Can I buy Scarlett Shelf now?
The app is in testing. Sales and the public customer link are not open yet. Contact support if you have a question before release.
